Three Poems

by Parker Tettleton

Spelling Knees

A tank

         intersecting

the grievous

         heart

(Yours)

         I kneel

the morning

         over

Touching Medication

I give to die

         in preemptive sleep

with pictures

         of everywhere

around me & you

         distantly in

choir with a favorite

         forgotten memory

My Work Is In Me

I am beside me

         when I speak

of dying & words

         do not

need comfort

         I do
